Zoo visitors will be able to see Iggy, a female white-cheeked gibbon, make her exhibit debut!

Gibbons are endangered animals native to Southeast Asia. They typically weigh between 12 and 16 pounds and are extremely active animals.

Because gibbons are arboreal, or tree dwellers, the exhibit was built to be 20 feet tall and provides ample space for climbing high and swinging throughout the space. The new gibbon exhibit is located next to the North American river otter exhibit.
